Some stories are extraordinary because of how faithfully they were lived. This Story Portrait celebrates a lifetime spent together. Through conversation, we reflected on childhood memories, marriage, family life and the countless ordinary moments that, over years, become the foundations of a life. Their memories are filled with humour, resilience and quiet wisdom-reminding us that the most meaningful stories are found in everyday experiences.

As I listened, I was struck by how easily decades can disappear unless someone takes the time to ask the questions and take note. Between recording the video and launching my exhibition, my Granda Mac sadly passed away, and it is impossible to tell you just how precious his recording and painting have become.
